Syrian Women

Title

Syrian Women

Subject

Foreign Hawkers Licenses

Description

This article discusses the proposal that hawking licenses for Syrian women should be restricted. It provides insight as it compares the behaviour of Syrians, who are seen as generally well-behaved, to Afghans, Parsees and Hindus. It states that their licenses should however, be restricted, as it may result in a wider spread of Syrian suburbs, as they are currently only living in East Melbourne.
